I’ve always struggled with my weight since I had my daughter almost 18 years ago. I’ve tried every diet, pills, starving myself, and even had the thought of being bulimic, to get rid of the extra weight!!! I stress eat, I like the way food tastes, I LOVE eating! I started my new journey about 2 years ago. I began with eating better (I was eating fast food about 5-6 days a week 2x a day). Once I stopped that, I began to see my weight drop, but it wasn’t enough. My weight was going back and forth.
I finally had THAT realization….my weight and attitude wasn’t going to change unless I got serious about it. I had seen several friends doing these challenges, watching their progress, and saying to myself “I can do that”. I made the decision, I saved my money, I focused on what was important in my and my kids life…ME! There is NO WAY I could’ve done it on my own.
That’s when I saw the Facebook post about LEAN’s 8 week challenge. Just in time, after Easter this year. I started on a freaking Hurricane Tuesday, almost passed out, and couldn’t walk for the rest of the week, not to mention, I cried in the parking lot before I walked through the doors because I was sooooo scared. I came back on the following Saturday, and haven’t stopped since. I finished the challenge with 15 lbs & 5% body fat lost!
The best thing I can say about LEAN is, my trainers are the BEST! I’ve never been as motivated, positive, and learned as much as I have anywhere, than I have here! It’s not just clean lean food that’s important, training is also important. Ive also learned that the scale doesn’t matter! I’ve lost weight, but I’ve gained muscle, confidence, positive attitude, and most of all friends! I’m a LEAN family for life!
My total weight loss since I started LEAN on 3/29/16 is 40 lbs!!!
